WiseTrax / WiseTracker -- v0.2.0 (Public Beta)
================================================

Thanks for trying it out! This download contains TWO things, built from the
same engine:

  - WiseTrax.vst3 -- the plugin (load it inside your DAW)
  - WiseTracker.exe -- the standalone app (run it on its own, no DAW needed)

Use either, or both.

WHAT IT IS
----------
A sampler, groove-box and tracker. Drop a sound in and play it -- from a MIDI
clip, a MIDI keyboard, or your computer keys. Build drum kits and multisamples
across the keyboard, generate beats and melodies in the RHYTHM panel, and write
patterns in the classic tracker grid. Use as much or as little of it as you like.

INSTALL -- the plugin (WiseTrax.vst3)
-------------------------------------
1. Copy "WiseTrax.vst3" into your system VST3 folder:
      C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
2. Start your DAW and rescan plugins if needed.
3. Add WiseTrax to an instrument track (it is a VST3 instrument).

(If your DAW was already open, close and reopen it so it picks up the plugin.)

RUN -- the standalone (WiseTracker.exe)
---------------------------------------
1. Just run WiseTracker.exe -- there is no install.
2. First time: open the Menu (top-right) -> Audio settings, and pick your sound
card, sample rate, buffer size, and MIDI input.
3. Press Play (or SPACE) to start. It has its own transport and tempo, and
saves/opens your songs as .wise files (the same files the plugin reads).

FIRST FEW MINUTES
-----------------
- Drag an audio file (WAV / AIFF / FLAC / OGG, or a whole .xm module) onto the
  waveform strip.
- Play it: tap your computer keys (two rows, like a piano), send MIDI, or
  press Play.
- Open the RHYTHM panel (between Samples and the grid), set hits + steps or pick
a groove, and hit STAMP to write a beat into the grid.
- Open Help inside the app (top-right Menu) for the full guide and What's New.

IT'S A BETA
-----------
This is an early, fast-moving version -- expect rough edges and the occasional
bug. Save often. If something breaks or feels off, please tell us, as specific
as you can: what you did, what you expected, what happened, and your DAW + OS.
